Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer with hands-on expertise in WordPress development and modern JavaScript technologies, including MERN and MEAN stacks. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing responsive web applications, building REST APIs, managing databases, and handling website hosting, domain configuration, migrations, and production deployments independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize responsive websites and full-stack web applications.
- Develop applications using WordPress, MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), and MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
- Build reusable front-end components and scalable back-end services.
- Develop, integrate, test, and debug RESTful APIs with proper authentication, validation, routing, and error handling.
- Use Postman to test, debug, validate, and document API endpoints.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, MySQL, WordPress hooks, and APIs.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins and work with Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
- Implement client-side and server-side routing, middleware, authentication, and authorization.
- Manage databases, perform CRUD operations, and optimize queries where required.
- Configure domains, DNS records, nameservers, SSL certificates, and hosting environments.
- Handle website migrations, domain transfers, backups, deployment, and post-migration verification.
- Deploy and maintain websites on GoDaddy, cPanel, managed WordPress hosting, VPS, or cloud platforms.
- Use Git and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for version control and collaborative development.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to applications, APIs, databases, hosting, performance, and security.
- Follow coding standards, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and project teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), responsive design, Bootstrap, and/or Tailwind CSS.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS, custom themes, plugin development, PHP, MySQL, and page builders.
- Working knowledge of React.js and/or Angular, including components, hooks/services, routing, forms, and API integration.
- Experience with Node.js and Express.js for server-side development and REST API creation.
- Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL/MariaDB, database operations, and query optimization fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, authentication, authorization, and CORS.
- Experience with Postman for API testing and debugging.
- Practical knowledge of hosting control panels, DNS configuration, SSL, FTP/SFTP, website migrations, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of web security, input validation, authentication security, caching, and performance optimization.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage development tasks and resolve production issues.
Hosting, Deployment & Security
- Experience managing domains, DNS records, nameservers, SSL certificates, and hosting environments.
- Ability to migrate WordPress websites between hosting providers with appropriate backups and minimal downtime.
- Understanding of cPanel or similar hosting panels, database management, PHP configurations, redirects, and server logs.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, including protection against XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, and unsafe file uploads.
- Ability to optimize website speed, caching, images, database queries, and application performance.
- Understanding of production deployments, environment variables, backups, and rollback procedures.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, Nuxt, Laravel, or other modern frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, email services, Firebase, analytics, and third-party APIs.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and technical SEO.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
What We Expect from the Candidate
